Subject: what a show!
Like many of the others, I was there for this magical night as well. What an unbelievable moment when the lightning flashed and the skies opened up at the beginning of set two! People don't believe me when I tell them that Jerry made it rain, but for those of us that were there, well...I had floor seats and because it was the middle of baseball season, they had a huge tarp covering the field(and drains). Needless to say, we were knee deep in beautiful "Rain" and groovin HARD by the middle of "Samba"! Wish I could go back there...this helps;) Peace in Your Valley

Subject: thank you
I'll probobaly be the 1,oooth person to say this at some point on this site, but GOD BLESS THIS PLACE! After getting into the Dead at a relatively young age, I stopped actively listening (altough always returning from time to time to cherished tapes and albums)for about 15 years. In the last year, I've gotten back into the Dead as my "main band." Feeling nostalgic for the olden' days of tapes showing up in the mail via bubblewrap envelopes, I started looking for folks to trade CD-Rs with this month, and no luck. And then someone directed me to this site. Grabbed this show first because it was my last. Haven't heard it since the day it was performed. Head spinning and spinning and spinning...

Subject: Last Time
This was not only my last show as well though a magical one to enjoy. I was there and the Rain was... unexplainable, I mean what timing. First set was a nice sunny day for a show for dancing to the likes of a rare favorite "Candy Man". Then the second came along. The sun was mellowing nicely and just at the perfect moment of when the first Rain was delivered it started to come down with heavy drops just listen for it. When they started Terrapin the stars were starting to faintly shine. If not one of then the best of the tour.It was a magical show for my Last Time.

Subject: The Recording to Get
The best show from 95 East Coast Summer Tour and the last time the band really delivered the goods. This is the best audience recording of the show - really clean and loud. A definite upgrade from previously available sources on this site. Nice!
